Detecting a new loophole in Intel processors

The Finnish company F-Secure has discovered a new loophole on intel devices, a vulnerability that allows hackers to access corporate computers remotely. The company said in a statement that this new loophole has nothing to do with the newly discovered Spectre and Meltdown variants, figs exploit microchips Which operates in most computers, phones and tablets.

The new loophole exploits AMT, which is present on most corporate laptops, allowing attackers to fully control the user's device in just a few seconds.

The security consultant at F-Secure said that this vulnerability could affect computers on a global level, although the defect is very simple but it is enough to destroy the devices incredibly, adding that the attacker first needs in the first to get to the victim's device to reconfigure AMT technology will then control the device in a hidden way and connect to the same wireless network as the user.
